Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to the Purple Visa Card “Win Back Your Purchase on Leap Day ” promotion (the “Promotion”) to be into the draw to win back the value of your purchase up to a value of $2,000 (the “Prize Draw”). Participation in this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
1. The Promotion is valid from 00.01am Saturday 29 February 2020 until 23.59pm on Saturday 29 February 2020 (the “Promotional Period”).
2. To be eligible to enter the Prize Draw, you must make a purchase totalling $250 or more on one receipt on your Purple Visa Card or long term interest free finance during the Promotional Period (a “Qualifying Purchase Transaction”).
3. Each Qualifying Purchase Transaction you make will automatically form one entry into the Prize Draw.
4. Only one Qualifying Purchase Transaction will be drawn to win the Prize Draw. The winner will be drawn on 10 March 2020.
5. If you’re the winner of the Prize Draw, you will receive a credit to the Main Cardholder’s Card Account of the amount of your Qualifying Purchase Transaction or $2,000 (whichever is the lesser). The credit will be made to the Main Cardholder’s Card Account within 10 Business Days after the Promotional Period ends. For the avoidance of doubt, if the value of your Qualifying Purchase Transaction is greater than $2,000 the balance of your Qualifying Purchase Transaction will be an amount owing on your Card Account.
6. The credit applied to the Main Cardholder’s Card Account is not transferable, exchangeable or refundable if you close your Card Account and cannot be redeemed for cash.
7. If your SBS Visa Card Account details are not up to date (including a phone number) or your Card Account is arrears, or you are in default under your Card Account on expiry of the Promotional Period, your entries in the Prize Draw will be invalid. If you are drawn as the winner of the Prize Draw, another entry in the Prize Draw will be drawn.
8. The winner will be notified by telephone from the details held by us on their account. If the winner cannot be contacted within 48 hours of the Prize Draw, another winner will be drawn on the same terms as the original draw, in which case, the initial Prize draw shall be deemed null and void and the winner shall have no entitlement under that initial Prize Draw.
9. The offer is not available in conjunction with any other SBS Money Limited offer.
10. The Promotion is open to all new and existing Purple Visa Card Accounts for both Main Cardholders and Additional Cardholders.
11. Directors, shareholders, employees and immediate families of Finance Now Limited and its associated companies and subsidiaries (including SBS Money Limited) and any customer referred to Finance Now by a commissioned agent, are not entitled to an entry in the Prize Draw.
12. The Promotion is not available in conjunction with any other Finance Now offer.
13. All decisions of SBS Money Limited are final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
14. If for any reason SBS Money Limited is unable to run the Promotion as planned, they reserve the right (in their sole discretion) to extend, postpone, amend, reschedule or cancel the Promotion at any time on the provision of reasonable notice, which shall include posting notice of the change on purplevisa.co.nz/competitions
15. SBS Money Limited any other agencies associated with this Promotion will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which may be sustained, directly or indirectly by any cardholder in connection with this Promotion, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
16. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
17. The General Terms and Conditions for Purple Visa Card apply to this Promotion and can be found at purplevisa.co.nz/support/document-centre. Any capitalised terms used in these terms and conditions but not defined shall have their meaning in the General Terms and Conditions.
