Terms and Conditions
- The promotion is valid from 1 June 2023 to 6 July 2023 (the “Promotional Period”).
- The prize (the “Prize”) to be won is:
i. Two tickets to the semi-final game on the 15th of August 2023 at Eden Park, Auckland,
ii. Access to the shared lounge,
iii. Food and drinks served at the game, and
iv. A commemorative gift. - To go into the draw to win the Prize, you must:
i. apply for a Purple Visa Card and successfully open a Card Account,
ii. activate your card during the Promotional Period;
iii. ensure your Card Account is open (and not in arrears or overdue) after the Promotional Period ends, and
iv. not be a new Additional Cardholder (the “Promotion“). - All Purple Visa Card applications will be assessed in accordance with SBS Money Limited’s standard approval process. SBS Money Limited is not obliged to accept an application.
- Only 5 winners will be drawn to win the Prize and the random draw will take place on 11 July 2023 by random electronic selection.
- Exclusion:
i. The Prize does not include any additional expenses that may arise in relation to the semi-final game of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 TM, including but not limited to, the winner’s and their guest’s travel cost to and from the game, accommodation, flights or insurance.
ii. The following people are not eligible for this Promotion:
i. An employee of Finance Now Limited, including the families of that employee;
ii. An employee of a related entity to Finance Now Limited, including the families of that employee; and
iii. An employee of an associated agency to Finance Now Limited, including the families of that employee. - If you are the winner:
i. Your Card Account details must be up to date (including a phone number, email address and postal address).
ii. You will be notified by telephone from the details held by us on your Card Account. If you cannot be contacted within 48 hours of the draw, another winner will be drawn on the same terms as the original draw.
iii. Your personal information will be shared with Visa Worldwide Pte. Limited (“Visa”), who will contact you with details on how to claim the Prize. Winners will be required to register with Visa Events to receive the Prize. Visa Events will send a further email with a PDF attachment of the match tickets to you closer to the game. SBS Money Limited accepts no responsibility for any failure to access or use the Prize once it has been sent to your email address.
iv. You consent to SBS Money Limited and Visa using your name and image for publicity and promotion purposes. - The Prize is non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.
- All decisions of SBS Money Limited are final, and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
- Participation in this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and any other applicable terms and conditions and relevant privacy policies or statements.
- SBS Money Limited are the promoters and Visa are providers of the Prize. Visa is solely responsible for providing the Prize to the winner. SBS Money Limited accepts no responsibility for the quality and suitability of the Prize provided by Visa.
- If for any reason SBS Money Limited and Visa are unable to run the Promotion as planned, they reserve the right (in their sole discretion) to extend, postpone, amend, reschedule or cancel the Promotion at any time on the provision of reasonable notice, which shall include posting notice of the change on purplevisa.co.nz/visapromotion.
- To the extent permitted by law, SBS Money Limited and Visa will not be liable to the winner for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss, whether arising in contract, tort, or otherwise, under or in connection with these Terms and Conditions.
- SBS Money Limited, Visa and any other agencies associated with this Promotion will not be liable for any loss, damage, injury or death whatsoever which may be sustained, directly or indirectly by any Cardholder in connection with this Promotion, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
- Any capitalised terms used in these Terms and Conditions but are not defined shall have their meaning in the Purple Visa Card Terms and Conditions.
- The FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 game tickets are governed by its own standard terms and conditions. Visit FIFA Women’s World Cup website for terms that apply. The winners of the Prize are required to comply with these conditions.
