Terms and Conditions relating to the Spend $50 Get 30 Purple Dollars Promotion
- The promotional period is stated in our email to you, with the subject line “Kick start your rewards with a special offer” (the “Promotional Period” and “Promotion Email”)
- During the Promotional Period, if:
a) you are an Eligible Customer (as defined below); and
b) you spend $50 or more using your Purple Visa Card on Eligible Transactions (as defined below),you’ll receive 30 Purple Dollars for your first Eligible Transaction (the “Promotion”). For the avoidance of doubt, you will not receive 30 Purple Dollars for your second Eligible Transaction (or any subsequent Eligible Transactions)
- Eligible Transactions are any Purple Visa Card transactions other than Cash Advances, Balance Transfers, loan repayments, interest free transactions (including long-term), fees and interest and excludes Purple Dollar redemptions, purchase refunds or charges that are under dispute or are fraudulent.
- Eligible Customers mean Cardholders who:
a) spend a total of $50 or more using their Purple Visa Card on Eligible Transactions during the Promotional Period;
b) have ensured that the Eligible Transaction was debited against their Card Account, no later than 5 days after the Promotion Period has ended;
c) have ensured that their Card Account details are up to date (including a phone number) and their Card Account is open and not in arrears or overdue when the Promotional Period ends; and
d) were the recipient of the Promotion Email. - If you meet the requirements in clause 2 above, you will be notified via eMoney and the 30 Purple Dollars will be credited to the Main Cardholder’s account within 15 business days after the Promotional Period ends.
- The 30 Purple Dollars may be reversed if the Eligible Transaction is refunded or cancelled.
- The 30 Purple Dollars applied to the Main Cardholder’s Card Account is not transferable, exchangeable, or refundable if the Main Cardholder closes their Card Account and cannot be redeemed for cash.
- All decisions of SBS Money Limited are final, and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
- Participation in this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and any other applicable terms and conditions.
- If for any reason SBS Money Limited is unable to run the Promotion as planned, it reserves the right (in its sole discretion) to extend, postpone, amend, reschedule or cancel the Promotion at any time on the provision of reasonable notice, which shall include posting notice of the change on https://www.purplevisa.co.nz/spend-50-get-30-purple-dollars.
- SBS Money Limited and any other agencies associated with this Promotion will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which may be sustained, directly or indirectly by any cardholder in connection with this Promotion, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
- Any capitalised terms used in these Terms and Conditions but not defined shall have the meaning set out in the Purple Visa Card Terms and Conditions.
