Terms and Conditions relating to the October 2023 Getaway Campaign (Terms and Conditions)  

1. The promotion is valid from Monday 25 September 2023 until Friday 3 November 2023 (the “Promotional Period”).
   
   
2. You will go into a draw to win a $500 cash back on your Card Account (the “Promotion“) if:
   • you spend NZ$500 or more on a single Visa transaction using your Purple Visa Card, to pay for your domestic or international flight and/or accommodation for your next getaway during the Promotional Period (the “Qualifying Transaction“);
   • the Qualifying Transaction was debited against your Card Account, no later than 5 days after the Promotional Period has ended; and
   • your Card Account details are up to date (including a phone number) and your Card Account is open and not in arrears or overdue when the Promotional Period ends (“Eligible Customers”).
     
     
3. Only 20 winners will be drawn for the Promotion and the random draw will take place on 14 November 2023 by random electronic selection.
   
   
4. If an entry is determined to be the result of an Additional Cardholder’s use of their card, then the entry will be recorded against the Main Cardholder’s Card Account and the $500 cash back won under the Promotion will be awarded to the Main Cardholder.
   
   
5. The following people are not eligible for this Promotion:
   • An employee of SBS Money Limited, including the families of that employee;
   • An employee of a related entity to SBS Money Limited, including the families of that employee; and
   • An employee of an associated agency to SBS Money Limited, including the families of that employee.
     
     
6. If you are the winner :
   • You will receive the $500 cash back for your first Qualifying Transaction. For the avoidance of doubt, you will not receive the $500 cash back for your second Qualifying Transaction (or any subsequent Qualifying Transactions).
   • the $500 cash back will be applied to the Main Cardholder’s Card Account within 15 business days after the Promotional Period ends;
   • you will be notified by telephone from the details held by us on your Card Account. If you cannot be contacted within 48 hours of the draw, another winner will be drawn on the same terms as the original draw; and
   • your name may be published on the Purple Visa Card website.
     
     
7. The $500 cash back may be reversed if the Qualifying Transaction is refunded or cancelled.
   
   
8. The $500 cash back applied to the Main Cardholder’s Card Account is not transferable, exchangeable, or refundable if the Main Cardholder closes their Card Account and cannot be redeemed for cash.
   
   
9. All decisions of SBS Money Limited are final, and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
   
   
10. Participation in this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and any other applicable terms and conditions.
    
    
11. If for any reason SBS Money Limited are unable to run the Promotion as planned, they reserve the right (in their sole discretion) to extend, postpone, amend, reschedule or cancel the Promotion at any time on the provision of reasonable notice, which shall include posting notice of the change onco.nz/getaway-promotion-october-2023.
    
    
12. SBS Money Limited and any other agencies associated with this Promotion will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which may be sustained, directly or indirectly by any Cardholder in connection with this Promotion, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
    
    
13. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
    
    
14. Any capitalised terms used in these Terms and Conditions but are not defined shall have their meaning in the Purple Visa Card Terms and Conditions.
